DisplayPort is the latest and greatest high definition digital audio/video format. DisplayPort was introduced by the Video Electronics Standards Association (VESA) and is designed to take computer graphics to the next level. These High Performance DisplayPort cables have pure copper conductors, gold plated connectors and shielding from EM and RF interferance.
DisplayPort is based on a micro packet data transmission protocol that allows for feature additions in the future. It currently supports up to 8.64 gbps data rates.
