These protective sleeve feature ethylene vinyl acetate construction that causes them to shrink under heat. It features transparent plastic tube and stainless steel rod to prevent stress and protect fusion fiber optic splices in field or factory operations. Sleeve of size 60 mm shrinks tightly to exclude air and hold the rod firmly to avoid abrasion of delicate glass fibers.
