Dual Band IR Frequency - supports devices that use single band or dual band IR frequencies. Many new cable boxes, DVRs, and other electronic devices require dual band frequencies. Some examples are AT&T U-verse DVRs, Dish Network DVRs, and Denon Receivers. A single-band IR repeater will not work with dual band devices, but dual band IR repeaters like this one will work with everything.
